Apple Plus Chinese users are mainly snaps iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro

GUANGZHOU, China – Chinese consumers have opted for Apple’s new iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, according to data provided to CNBC.

Two devices in Apple’s new 5G flagship lineup became available for pre-order on October 16. As of Tuesday time, 152,737 iPhone 12 units had been pre-ordered, according to data from a Chinese e-commerce site and an official Apple Pal reseller Fenkill.

Fenkill is also taking pre-orders for the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max, though they are not officially available until November.

Of all the pre-ordered iPhones, about 43% are iPhone 12 models and over 28% are iPhone 12 Pro models. The iPhone 12 Pro Max order is just under 19% and about 10% is the order for the iPhone 12 Mini, the smallest screen device in the lineup.

The Finkile data comes after a new note by Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at TF International Securities, known for accurate predictions about Apple Paul products and sales.

Kuo reported that the 24 Play sold 2 million iPhone 12 units in the first 24 hours, more than 800,000 units of the iPhone. He also said that the iPhone 12 Pro is selling better than expected and China represents 35% to 45% of that model. Demand.

Indeed, on Apple Pal’s official China website, the delivery time of the iPhone 12 Pro ranged from three to four weeks, which is more than two to three weeks for the base iPhone 12 models. Delivery time for devices can always indicate which models are the most popular.

Kuo also predicted that the iPhone 12 Mini would not do well in China due to its smaller screen, where larger displays are more popular. At Fenkill, the iPhone 12 Mini has a minimum pre-order.

The latest figures will be encouraging as Apple has given the company the importance of the Chinese market, but also the high expectations that the iPhone 12 will be upgraded to the “supercycle.”

The iPhone 12 Pro 128GB Pacific Blue variant makes 20% pre-order on Apple’s iPhone 12 64GB FanKill in blue, making up 11%. These are the two most popular models.

Capertino, the California giant, has been quite aggressive on pricing. The iPhone 12 Pro is cheaper than the starting price of last year’s iPhone 11 after its release in China.

“Consumers are looking for the best deals even before the epidemic strikes. And both the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro models can provide them with a favorable price and screen size experience,” Will Wong, IDC’s research manager, told CNBC.

“The iPhone 12 allows customers to get the first 5G iPhone with more acceptable prices and specs, while the iPhone 12 Pro can provide a ‘Pro’ experience to customers with more affordable prices.”
