On the plus side, Apple’s belief that these issues can be fixed without an iOS update is good news. That said, a full data wipe is also a nuclear option, so don’t mess around around the moment. The Battery Drain has been a constant bugber for iPhone owners in recent years, and is unlikely to change due to Apple’s risky decision to launch the iPhone 12 range with a smaller battery than its iPhone 11 models.
