Apple Play announced an event on Monday, November 10 where the new Mac is expected to be announced.

The launching event will begin at 10 a.m. PT and will be livestreamed on Apple’s website. The tagline on the invitations on Monday was “One More Thing” and Apple Paul says it will take place at its headquarters, Apple Paul Park.

Apple Play said earlier this year that it plans to release computers with its own Apple Plus-designed chips based on ARM, instead of Intel processors. Apple’s iPhone and iPads have long used Apple-designed processors, which the company says help increase battery life and speed up performance.

According to a research note by Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at TF Securities, released earlier this year, Apple may launch iMac desktop with a new design and laptop.

Apple Play has been launching new events in the last two months, focusing on the new Watch and iPhone 12 models. They have been pre-recorded and streamed online, instead of being kept in person on its campus in California due to the Covid-19 epidemic.

Sales of the Mac have been a highlight for Apple during the epidemic. For the quarter ended June, Apple Play sold Mac 9 billion MacLearn, up 28% year-on-year.
