It has acquired the security company Fleetsmith, according to a blog post on the Fleetsmith website. Fleetsmith helps with device configuration and security patches for Apple devices, including Mac and iPhones, that are used in business environments. Company tools help companies automatically configure Apple devices for new employees and manage problems across the entire fleet in one place. “Our shared values of putting the customer at the center of everything we do without sacrificing privacy and security, means that we can truly fulfill our mission, delivering Fleetsmith to companies and institutions of all sizes, worldwide,” he said.
