Apex Legends Season 6 will add a new Legend, a new crafting system, and a new weapon

Apex Legends Season 6 arrives new week on August 18, introducing “expert mud” Rampart as a new Legend, as well as a new crafting system, a new energy SMG weapon, and more.
EA says new legend Rampart is an “expert mud who made her name in underground fighting clubs.” Rampart and the new crafting system are probably the biggest additions of Season 6: when it launches new season, you will be able to find craft materials around the map to build yourself a little better gear.

Also arriving in season 6 is the Volt energy SMG, a new weapon that “packs a punch”, an imposing battle pass with more than 100 items – including Legendary skins – and a new ranking season. So far, Respawn and EA have only given a glimpse of what to expect with Season 6, and we’ll probably get more info as August 18th approaches. We will keep you posted.

Coming on the horizon after season 6 is Apex Legends cross-play, which arrives in Fall, at the same time as the game launches for Steam and Switch. However, console players are not forced to match PC player developer Jake Smullin has made it clear that when cross-play arrives for Apex Legends, console players will only be placed in PC lobby if there is already a PC player in their squad .
