Content makers and pro gamers alike have criticized changes in Apex Legends following the Season 6 update, which included a major shift to the Battle Royale weapon meta.
Numerous fresh Apex Legends content has been added following the season 6 update, on August 17th. It introduced more map changes, a new Legend, Rampart, and even a crafting system.
However, many of the game’s top personalities have already expressed their criticism of the current state of Season 6, and take issues with weapon balancing and audio, in particular.
Apex players frustrated with season 6 meta 6
Last season saw the Devotion LMG as ‘Devo’ added to the floor floor in Apex Legends, making it much easier for players to find in-game.
The high power of the weapon makes it one of the best guns in the game and now with reduced time to kill, almost every squad will seek to get their hands on one.
NRG Lulu
Apex Legends content creator, LuluLuvely, was one of the few to share frustrations about today’s meta, calling on Respawn to include the Devo back in healthcare packages.
Now that the anger of my day 1 is out of the way, my thoughts are on Apex season 6. Let SOM some of you guys remember that if I did not have passion and love for this game, I would just stop when things go wrong . pic.twitter.com/M6M9ViHF7a

TSM ImperialHal
TSM star ImperialHal also highlighted some of the other weapons in the meta, claiming that there was no skill gap in Apex Legends after some of the damage buffs.
“The methane of the gun is now completely trash. Every gun is so brain dead without recoil with insane amount of damage,” he added.
Impression of season 6: The meta-gun is now completely trash, every gun is so brain dead without record with insane amount of damage, R301, Scout, Volt, Devo, destruction and fucking buffing burst weapons ??? Skill gap no longer even exists

Snip3down
Halo veteran snip3down also voiced his criticism, claiming that, despite being a fan of some of the new changes, the reduction in weapons and health from 200 to 175 hurt the game.
He also pointed out a bug where weapons like the Volt and Devotion have reduced the audio volume, which could lead to some confusing gunfights.
All this on top of weapons like the volt and dedication that has 0 sound, mostly causing problems in battles constantly. Devo should not be a floor weapon at all, and might as well return in the care package, take out the R99 and replace it with devo IMO

CLG ImMadness
CLG pro ImMadness shared an alleged conversation with twitter account Apex Legends, asking for 10,000 retweets to address the gun and gun vote.
While there were concerns about the legitimacy of the screenshot, the retweet target was hit within hours, suggesting that many players feel alike about the latest changes.

SoaR Jonny
SoaR Jonny admitted that he has added many of the new features ‘really fun’ to season 6. That said, he is not happy about the Devotion, claiming it would be a “slap in the face” if changes were not made. made.
i really like this season, but the devo is not the movement. this is the chance of apex to show that they listen to their community, bc it’s pretty obvious that everyone agrees. if nothing happens, it will really be a slap in the face tbh

Despite receiving some backlog from Apex players, it is not yet clear if Respawn has any intention of returning any of the weapons and health / weapon changes in season 6.
