Breaking news
Antonio Brown He just announced that his game days ended, again, with the free agent wide receiver saying, “At this point, the risk is greater than the reward.”
Remember, AB threatened to withdraw in September … after being released by the New England Patriots amidst a myriad of off-field problems, including a sexual assault investigation.
Now … the 7 times Pro Bowler is singing a similar tune, saying that he is leaving the game behind forever.
“Time to get away, did I do everything in the game? !!” AB tweeted on Monday.
“Thank you to everyone who took part in this journey, I sincerely thank you for everything! Life goes on 84!”
“I came, I saw that I had conquered the entire mission Call to God 🤙🏾”
Of course, AB was traded to Oakland Raiders after 9 drama-filled seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers … but it was released before the 2019 season began.
Brown was picked up by the Pats for a game … scoring 1 touchdown.
AB had been working like crazy to go back to the league – train with boys like Russell Wilson and Lamar Jackson this summer, and even one of his training QBs last week told us he had been “increase workouts“in anticipation of signing soon.
If it really is over, AB will end his career with 841 catches, over 11,000 yards and 75 touchdowns.
