Antonio Brown interested in Seahawks deal

Russell Wilson has pushed for the Seahawks to sign Antonio Brown, and the free agent wide receiver would not mind resuming his career in Seattle.

The duo worked together this week, and NFL.com’s Mike Garafolo reports that Brown would love to play for the Seahawks (video link). Additionally, the Seahawks have been involved in internal discussions about Brown’s signing, according to Garafolo. They are now the team most connected to the old perennial All-Pro.

Other teams are also interested, according to Garafolo, although it is not certain who those franchises are at the moment. The team signing Brown would need to prepare for a suspension. The NFL investigation into wide receiver wide-open problems is ongoing.

The Seahawks signed Phillip Dorsett this offseason, and he would seemingly enter the camp with a good shot at winning the number 3 spot behind the team Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf. A Brown signature would shake up the Seahawks airstrike. Brown’s actions since week 17 of the 2018 season have made him one of the most volatile players in modern NFL history, with the 32-year-old receiver soon to burn bridges at will.

In addition to the three teams that employed Brown last year, the Saints were the other known suitor. Brown worked late last season, but even that sparked controversy. Tom bradyThe interest in Brown playing with him in Tampa Bay is well known, but the Buccaneers are not believed to be interested. Brown has been calmer on social media the past few months, and it looks like he will be given a chance to return to the league sometime this season.
