The 15th edition of Hard Knocks opened with a bang with Chargers coach Anthony Lynn talking to his team on a Zoom call.

“I can not promise you that you will not be infected,” Lynn said in the opening scene. “I’m infected.”

Chargers pass rusher Joey Bosa saw a surprise after the revelation.

Saints coach Sean Payton and Eagles coach Doug Pederson were previously NFL coaches known to have contracted COVID-19.

Later in the hour-long show, Lynn said he had a cough, had body aches and “could not be comfortable in bed.” It was when he watched golf on TV, and recalled a PGA player with similar symptoms, that he realized he might have COVID-19.

‘I can not even tell you how [he became infected], ”Said Lynn.

Lynn said the virus and the need to quarantine “make you feel like an outcast.”
