Pascal, the red sea otter, has made an appearance in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and bring the mermaid furniture with him.
Pascal will appear when you dive into the ocean and find a scallop. He will appear, hungry for your fresh catch and offer you a reward and some wisdom in exchange for it. You can only see Pascal once a day, so if he has already appeared, you won’t get another reward for finding another Scallop. You can get a DIY recipe for mermaid furniture, mermaid-themed clothing, or a pearl.
The DIY recipes from the mermaid furniture set require shells to create, so definitely start storing what you find on the beach for future use. After all, finding the specific shell you need for a recipe can be a little difficult.
You will also need Pearls to create the mermaid furniture, which are rare items that you can find in the ocean similar to sea creatures.
Below is a list of recipes you can get from Pascal, along with the materials you’ll need to craft your DIY. We will complete the list as we find more information.
