Animal Crossing: New Horizons guide to Dreaming and Dream Addresses

Animal Crossing: New Horizons It now has a sleep feature, which allows players to visit other islands without going to the airport. The other player doesn’t even need to be online. (To use dreams, you will need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.)

That said, you won’t be able to buy any items or pick any fruit if you’re visiting through a dream. This is mainly to make it easier to share your creative vision with others. As an added bonus, it allows you to invite people without fear that they will destroy your place or trample your flowers.

Luna, a tapir, will help you sleep.

How to upload your island

When you lie down on a bed in your house, it will ask you if you want to sleep. Say yes and you will see Luna, who will offer to help you. To upload your island, say “I would like to share a dream”.

After connecting to the internet, she will give you a dream address code to share that will represent your island. The address of your dreams will appear on your passport and on your map, so don’t worry about registering it when I tell you the code at the beginning.

Please note that you can only charge your island once a day.

How to visit other islands using dreams

After talking to Luna for the first time, you can sleep at home in any bed. Once you go to bed, the game will ask you if you want to dream. Select yes, and you will be shrouded in purple mist before seeing Luna again. Tell her you “want to dream” and she will ask you for a dream address to enter. Once you enter the island code, you will wake up from your bed in front of the Island Resident Services you have chosen to visit. As a reminder, you won’t be able to do much beyond enjoying all the sights. But that’s okay!

When you’re ready to head back to your own island, just lie down on the bed.
