Angelina Jolie, the judge of Brad Pitt in divorce says he can and will remain impartial in proceedings

The judge over the divorce of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt has responded to the actress’ call for “impartiality” in the proceedings.

Last week broke the news that Jolie, 45, claimed in court documents that Us Weekly received that Judge John W. Ouderkirk – a private judge who was hired in 2017 to oversee her case – failed “public business and professional relationships “with Pitt, 56.

Ouderkirk has another link to the former couple. He managed her August 2014 wedding in France.

ANGELINA JOLIE WANTS IN ‘HONEST’ TRIAL TRIAL FULL ‘TRANSPARENCY AND IMPARTIALITY’

“All my client asks for is a fair trial based on facts, with no special benefits extended to either side,” Jolie’s attorney, Samantha Bley DeJean, told the outlet. “The only way litigants can trust the process is for everyone involved to ensure transparency and impartiality.”

The report said that in the Jolie-Pitt proceedings, Ouderkirk apparently did not disclose the cases that demonstrated the repeat-client relationship between the judge and Pitt’s attorney.

Now Entertainment Tonight has been brought to justice with the response of Ouderkirk, in which he claims not to hold prejudices and to deny under the penalty of perjury that he did not disclose multiple relationships regarding the case.

“I will continue to consider accepting other cases, as other additional cases may arise from time to time while the Jolie / Pitt case is still pending. Such other cases may involve a party, lawyer, law firm and / or witnesses involved in the Jolie / Pitt case, “the judge wrote in the documents.

Furthermore, Ouderkirk stated that he can and will remain impartial in the case and requested that documents and evidence in support of the claim be properly considered by the court.

Following Jolie’s submission, Pitt’s legal team submitted a response, calling them a “transparent tactical gambit” to postpone proceedings.

The heavyweights of Hollywood named it in September 2016 after roughly 10 years together and two years of marriage.
