While her family is truly “happy” by the pandemic, Jolie acknowledges that not everyone has been as happy.
It’s a full house for Angelina Jolie.
The actress was quarantined during the coronavirus pandemic with all six of her and Brad Pitt’s ex children; Maddox, 19, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 12.
“Well, we’re all there. So, all six children, my oldest son from home in Korea,” she revealed in a new interview with E! S Daily Pop. “A lot of popcorn and just like any family, we are just pajamas, robes, snacks.”
“You know, I’ve never been one to appreciate relaxation. I love chaos,” she added of her bustling home. “I’ve been to high-level meetings where there are dogs and balls and kids and things. You would just enjoy being human with everyone else and laughing through it.”
Jolie admitted that she tried to give them all “a little structure” with schedules around the house, but admitted that daughter Zahara “is better at organizing things than I am.”
In a separate interview with EXTRA, the actress Maddox said she took lessons for Yonsei University in South Korea from home, and studied online starting every afternoon at 6 p.m.
“They’re all together and it’s a nice big bunch, so everyone helps each other,” she added. “We are lucky.”
The humanitarian recognized those who are not so happy, the humanitarian said that their “biggest concerns” during the pandemic are those in abusive homes.
“There was a 40% drop-off of child abuse hearing reports and what that means is that those like the teachers who recognize what is happening to the child and can report it cannot see the child, so domestic violence is a very big concern at this time, ‘she said. Jolie added that she is hopeful “Humanity always comes to the fore in times like these.”
Jolie promoted her voice work in the upcoming family film ‘The One and Only Ivan’, which hits Disney + on Friday, August 21st.
