Andrew Wiggins ’jumper looks easy on the first day of the Warriors’ minicamp

With their season ending prematurely in March due to a coronavirus epidemic, the Warriors held their first volunteer minicamp practice on Wednesday in their first organized team activity. The Golden State star players did not participate, but nonetheless, seeing the court return to the court was an inspiring sight.

Steff Curry and Dremond Green were not present, as both received absenteeism due to family issues. Neither Clay Thompson nor Eric Paschal were in league-compulsory quarantine, although they are expected to join over the weekend.

Even without those four, it seemed certain that the Warriors got a good score.

“It’s fun,” Jordan Poole later said. “It’s a pleasure to see their faces and to be able to communicate with people who are at home or away. Being able to at least come back and connect as a unit, it’s definitely helpful. ”

It’s been a long time since Warriors fans saw their team in action. It may not be a conference final, but after Zilch in the last six months, we will take whatever we can get.
