It sounds strange to call someone the “couple” of quarantine, but Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck are, well, sort of that. While other celebrities used the time separately to break or take a break from the limelight, the Armas and Affleck made headlines every time they went out to walk their dogs or have coffee (mostly Dunkin ‘).
They are often photographed by the paparazzi during these activities – but posting on each other on social media is much rarer. That it was some surprise over the weekend when the Armas shared a selfie of themselves who looked super happy with Affleck. You love to see it indeed.
They keep the recipe simple with an “💕” emoji.
Affleck celebrated his 48th birthday on Saturday and Folk the Armas reports him a new BMW motorcycle, complete with matching helmet, to mark the big day. They were later seen walking around the Pacific Palisades by bike.
Rumors of their relationship first appeared back in March when they tracked down together on a trip to Cuba. They may have met while filming, Deep water, which is expected to come out later this year at some point. “He makes her laugh, and she has a big impact,” a source told reporters Folk. “They try to be safe with his family and he works to make sure he is healthy and present to his family. His priority will always be his children and making that work.” (Affleck shares three children with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner: Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.)
Earlier this spring, the high-key Internet became obsessed with the couple, after they were seen matching heart chains. Then it was time for everyone to think they were sharing a shirt. At one point, there was a gigantic cut of the Armas in front of Affleck’s house, which seems to be a kind of prank with the Affleck children.
Honestly, it’s no wonder the pandemic has us all been looking for fun news about celebrities every now and then seeing the total lack of events and red carpet to talk about. And who can blame us? Blessed Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck for giving us something to discuss.
Plus, they just seem super happy and who would not want to see us live through this weird 2020?
