Amy Schumer has declared that she has Lyme disease, ‘maybe it’s been years’

Actor and comedian Amy Schumer announced Tuesday night that she has Lyme disease and has asked friends and fans to write her advice.

In a post on Instagram, the “I Feel Pretty” actor shared a photo of himself with his “first phishing poll”.

“Does anyone get LYME this summer?” She asked. “I got it and I’m on doxycycline. I’ve probably had it for years. Any advice? Can you get a glass of wine or 2 on it? “

Schumer added that she has been out in the sun and taking antibiotics as well as “these bs herbs from a cap cod called lime-2”.

“I also want to say that I feel good and I’m excited to get rid of it,” he said.

Venus, who welcomed her first child, Jean, with husband Chris Fisher in May, 2019, also suffers from an acute form of the disease, Hypermeris gravidarum, during pregnancy.

Lyme disease is a bacterial infection that is spread by the bite of an infected deer tick.

Usually, people who contract the infection develop red spots on the skin within a week, but after a month. Others may not always experience a rash or mistake for a spider bite.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Lyme disease can develop many other symptoms – fever, chills, headaches, fatigue, joint pain and swollen lymph nodes.

If not diagnosed immediately, Lyme disease can spread from the joints to the nervous system and the heart – to other parts of the body.

There is no specific way to test for it, as there is no direct blood test for bacteria caused by Lyme. Antibody tests not only measure the immune system’s response to bacteria, but doctors have to rely on them – studies show that those tests are not always accurate.

In recent months, doctors have warned that Lyme’s symptoms may be similar to those of COVID-19 – such as fever, chills, muscle aches and fatigue.

Lyme disease specialist Dr. in private practice in Mount Kisco, New York. “Lyme disease is as common this year as it was the year before,” Daniel Cameron said today in July. He said Lim also has a reputation for emulating other conditions.

“By cytokines, stimulating the inflammatory process, and triggering a full natural immune system, it will mimic several other infections that affect the immune system,” Cameron said.

In addition to the rash, another sign of illness is the lungs. Lime tends to save them, while COVID-19 usually affects them.

Another possible way to rule out Lyme disease would be to find out where you came from. Lyme-transmitted ticks are spreading across the country, but historically, mainly in the northeastern part of the country, as well as the University of Illinois and Minnesota, an assistant professor of clinical medicine at the University of Southern California, Dr. Edward Jones-Lopez, said today.

Regarding whether Schumer can drink a glass or two of wine while taking doxycycline, the Mayo Clinic says he should avoid it.

“Although minor use of alcohol does not reduce the effectiveness of most antibiotics, it does reduce your energy expenditure and can delay how quickly you recover from illness,” said Dr. James M. Stackelberg wrote in a general post on the subject. “So, it’s a good idea to avoid alcohol until you finish your antibiotics and feel better.”
