According to Ada County Sheriff’s spokesman Patrick According Rana, the Idaho Supreme Court has a mask order for anyone entering the courtroom, but Bundy showed up on Monday morning, the first day of his jury hearing, when he would not wear it and was denied entry.
Magistrate Judge David Manveiler then issued a warrant for the failure to show malpractice.
The detainee was arrested and taken to Ada County Jail where he is being held on a 10,000 10,000 bond.
CNN Reached Bundy for comment, but got no immediate response. It is not clear if he has an attorney.
Bundy faces arrests in connection with the August Gust incident at Ideho Statehouse and is charged with aggravated assault. He was arrested during a special session of the legislature for refusing to leave the Capitol in Boise.
“At the time, soldiers were forced to physically remove detainees from the gallery,” police said at the time.
Bundi and others were in the capital demanding an end to the state of emergency.
He and others were convicted by a federal grand jury, but were acquitted of firearms charges and conspiracy to obstruct federal workers.
