Amber Riley pays homage to Naya Rivera on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Amber Riley sang her heart out to the late Naya Rivera, her Glee with-star and diva-in-arms, to Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday night. The actress and singer released their new song “A Moment” from their debut album titled album, from October 2. “Not too long ago we both lost a really great friend in a tragic accident and we will miss them both forever,” host Lil Rel Howery suggested to Riley, who appears just below her last name, adding: “She is here to pay tribute to our good friend Naya Rivera. ” Covered in black and white, photos of Rivera – from snapshots of children to selfies with her 4-year-old son, Josey – disappear into Riley’s background as she rhymes. “Everyone thinks I’m in order, but no one knows the way I really feel / Only heaven knows that nothing does more than fall,” she sings effortlessly.

The 33-year-old was found dead after a boat trip with her son in Southern California last month. Har Glee co-stars, such as best friend Heather Morris, have honored her ever since through dance, song and words. When the song is over, Riley turns around and looks at the picture of Rivera just beaming at her.
