Amber Heard and Johnny Depp arrived separately at the High Court in London for day 10 of the case.

Actor Johnny Depp knelt over ex-wife Amber Heard and hit her on the back of the head during an argument before they were married, he told a court.

Ms. Heard said Depp accused her of having an affair with a co-star.

Depp, 57, is suing the editor of The Sun over an article that referred to him as a “handcuff puncher,” but the newspaper claims it was accurate.

He denies 14 domestic violence allegations that News Group Newspapers relies on for his defense.

Presenting on the witness stand at London High Court on the tenth day of the case, Ms Heard said that she had been subjected to repeated and regular physical violence at the time of the couple’s marriage in 2015.

Mr. Depp’s lawyer, Eleanor Laws QC, asked her about her allegations of an argument in January 2015, and suggested that these were discussions with lawyers about a prenuptial agreement between her and Mr. Depp.

“There was an argument in a hotel room in Tokyo that resulted in Johnny kneeling on my back and hitting me on the back of the head,” Heard told the court.

Ms. Heard said that Mr. Depp told him that he did not want a pre-nuptial agreement, but that it was his sister, Christi Dembrowski, who wanted the couple to get one.

“He mentioned … it was more about Christi, his sister, who handled most of his affairs.

“He said it was Christi, that he didn’t want that [the pre-nuptial agreement], who trusted me and, as he told me over and over, the only way out of this was death. “

She added: “But then Johnny also accused me of having an affair with a co-star and that’s what led to the real discussion.”

‘I do not care about money’

Ms. Heard added that she had hired an attorney working on a draft prenup and sent it to Mr. Depp’s team, but never signed it.

The text messages were read in court, showing that Depp’s sister had told her to sign an agreement.

Ms. Heard said the pre-nup was left on Mr. Depp’s computer desk and that “nobody did anything.”

Faced with the challenge of whether Mr. Depp wanted a pre-nuptial agreement, Mrs. Heard said: “I had no idea. He said no. What Johnny told me is that he would look for it and that the only way out of this it was death.

“He told me over and over and I offered him over and over to sign whatever he or his team needed or wanted.”

“I made it very clear from the first days … that I wasn’t interested in Johnny’s money, I never had been, I never was.”

Depp’s attorney, Eleanor Laws QC, also asked the actress if she had “final control over the relationship.” Mrs. Heard replied, “No, absolutely not.”

When asked if she made important decisions in the relationship, Ms. Heard said, “No, she had very little decision-making power in that relationship.”

He was asked about five penthouses in the Eastern Columbia Building in Los Angeles, which his sister and a friend moved into.

When asked if they paid the rent, Mrs. Heard said, “No, Johnny didn’t leave them.”

The case centers on an article posted on The Sun’s website in April 2018. It was titled: “Gone Potty: How Can JK Rowling Be The ‘Genuinely Happy’ Supporting Wife Johnny Depp In The New Movie Fantastic Beasts? “

The article relates to the allegations of Ms. Heard, who was married to the movie star from 2015 to 2017. The hearing is expected to last three weeks.
