Amazon on Monday announced a benefit for related video games for Prime members on Monday, renaming Twitch Prime to Prime Gaming.

Prime Gaming will offer more new content and free games, plus a monthly subscription to Twitch channel. Amazon, which acquired Twitch in 2014 for nearly $ 1 billion, launched Twitch Prime in 2016.

Prime members will have access to free and exclusive in-game content for a variety of titles, including Grand Theft Auto Online, Red Dead Online, Apex Legends, EA Sports FIFA 20, League of Legends, and more than 20 other games for PC, console and mobile. As part of the membership, PC games can be claimed every month, and this month include these titles SNK 40th Anniversary Collection, Metal Slug 2, and Treachery in Beatdown City.

“Prime members get all the best of TV, movies, and music, and now we are expanding our entertainment offerings to include the best of gaming,” said Larry Plotnick, GM for Prime Gaming, in a blog post. ‘We provide customers with new content that makes their favorite games on every platform even better. No matter what kind of games you like, and also where you play them, they will be even better with Prime Gaming. “

Amazon has agreements with game publishers such as Riot Games, Roblox Corp., and Rockstar Games. Players can access such content as exclusive skins for Apex Legends, a Player Pick Pack for EA Sports FIFA 20, and exotic weapons for Destiny 2. New items for Roblox also coming later this month.

While Amazon put even more pressure on benefits of video games on Prime, its own push in game production did not go so well earlier this summer. The launch of his much hyped title with big budget Cross fell flat and the PC shooter had to be moved to closed beta for further development.
