A notable PS5 console re-stock went live on Amazon US earlier today.
This surprised shoppers, who had not previously made any announcements through Amazon.
This was Amazon US’s first major drop since its November 12 release date.
It is estimated that the console was picked up by thousands of shoppers. Most orders are shown to be for delivery between 30 December 2020 and 5 January 2021.
Unfortunately, most shoppers arrived late. However the site said the PS5 is in stock, when they received an error message while trying to add it to the basket.
This is shown when the product in inventory is already out of stock, but the front-end of the site has not been updated.
Amazon U.S. How long did the restoration last?
The PS5 Disc Edition was only in stock after 11am EST and lasted only 9 minutes before it was all gone. It just stopped again for a minute before 4PM EST and came back into in-stock.
Meanwhile, the PS5 Digital Edition was in stock just before 12pm EST and lasted only 2 minutes.
Any version of the PS5 was only available for a maximum of 12 minutes. This comes as no surprise given How fast the PS5 is selling at other retailers.
When will the PS5 Amazon stock back to the US?
There has been no official announcement from Amazon regarding the PS5 stock.
However, a reliable insider indicates that during January 2021 it will be more re-stocks. There has been a big increase in supply from Sony at the beginning of the year.
Our sources have predicted a Major PS5 re-stock on Target And constantly monitoring the situation at other retailers.
