As soon as it wraps up Prime Day, Amazon is already heading into the holiday shopping season.
Amazon launched its Holiday Dash sale event on Friday, which it has introduced as a way for shoppers to “beat the holiday rush” this year. The event features daily holiday shopping deals in a variety of categories, including toys, fashion, electronics and home furnishings.
The event comes two days after Amazon’s 48-hour Prime Day concludes on Wednesday. Mega-Cell has boosted third-party sellers, with માટે for small and medium-sized businesses in its market. has produced more than a billion billion dollars.
Amazon was forced to postpone Prime Day from mid-July to October-October as a result of the coronavirus epidemic. The move swept across the retail industry, forcing rivals Walmart, Target, Best Buy and others to start discounting around Prime Day and pushing the holiday shopping season forward a month earlier.
Many retailers are hoping that the start of the holiday shopping season will ease the burden of early shopping online shopping and avoid any stress on their supply chain. Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals are expected to be offered primarily online, as retailers look to reduce congestion in stores.
To compensate for the earlier start, Amazon has also lengthened its return window, so that most items now shipped from December 31 can be returned by January 31, 2021.
