Amazon Amazon’s Prime Day kicks off on October 13th

Prime Day, Amazon’s annual deals extravaganza, will run from October 13-14, the company announced today. Amazon says the two-day shopping event will feature “more than a million deals in each category,” including brands such as Panasonic, RoboRock, Carrig, Under Armor, Coleman, Adidas, Lacoste, Marvel, Tickwatch and more.

Amazon aims to support small businesses on its platform, with customers being encouraged to buy from them in part until Prime Day. Starting today, October 12, Prime members will be using a 10 10 credit on Prime Day by spending spending 10 on some small businesses on Amazon. The company is also committed to spending more than $ 100 million to promote small business through Prime Day and the holiday season.

In particular, Amazon hosts Prime Day in July, but due to the Kovid-19 epidemic it has moved back this year. The event is usually a big gain for the company – analysts estimate Amazon sells more than $ 6 billion worth of products. And Amazon has given nice discounts on its own hardware during the last Prime Days, so if you want to choose a new Kindle e-reader or Amazon Echo, it would be worth the wait until this year’s event.

Amazon just unveiled a wide range of new hardware, however, and most of them won’t carry after Prime Day, so it’s worth keeping that in mind when buying deals. Amazon is already launching an early starting fur today such as two echo dots for E 39.98, for example, but the new dot is coming out on October 22nd.

Prime Day will begin on Tuesday, October 13 at 3am ET and will cover the US, UK, UAE, Spain, Singapore, Netherlands, Mexico, Luxembourg, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, China, Canada, Belgium, Riyadh, Australia and Australia. Brazil.
