Alyssa Milano shows hair loss following Covid-19 battle in video

The actress has been battling symptoms of the virus since March, when she said she began to experience fever and headaches.

“I thought I would show you what # Covid19 does to your hair,” Milano tweeted along with the video. “Please take this seriously.”

In the video, she shows off her clean detangling brush before brushing her wet hair.

“I just wanted to show you how much hair is coming out of my head as a result of Covid,” Milano said in the video.

Holding a large chunk of hair in front of the camera, she added, “One brush, this is my hair loss from Covid-19. Wear ad *** – mask.”

Alyssa Milano thought she was dying and tested positive for Covid-19 antibodies
In an interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo about PrimeTime and expert experts Dr. William Schaffner last week, the actress said she was waiting for doctors’ advice on what to do now that she is in recovery, noting that it is not clear what next steps she would take.

“My question is that there is no manual on what to do once you have recovered. I do not know if I should go to check my heart, check my lungs. There are concerns about vascular system. Should I go for a to get a panel for all of that? “

“There is no guidance because this is all so new,” she added.

Schaffner said while there are no follow-up steps yet to be determined, anyone still experiencing symptoms such as Milano should continue to see their primary care physician.

Milano has been suffering from various symptoms for months, she said in an Instagram post last week.

“This was me on April 2, after I had been sick for 2 weeks,” she posted along with a photo showing her wearing a respirator.

“I had never been this kind of sick before. Everything hurt. Loss of smoke,” she wrote. “It felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. I could not breathe. I could not hold food in me. I lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks.

“I had basically every Covid symptom,” Milano wrote, adding that although she had tested twice negative for the virus, she has since tested positive for antibodies.

“I am positive for covide antibodies,” she wrote. “I had Covid19. I just want you to be aware that our test system is faulty and that we do not know the real numbers.”

The actress scolded her followers for wearing masks, social distances and washing her hands because she did not want anyone else to feel as horrible as she did.

“I want you to know too, this disease is not a hoax,” she added. “I thought I was dying. It felt like dying.”

“I do not want anyone to feel the way I did.”
