Alyssa Milano revealed on Twitter on Saturday that she was “acutely ill” with COVID-19 in April. The actress shared a photo of herself in the emergency room after she said she went to the hospital after she had pregnancy in her breast.
“I went to the ER to make sure it was not a blood clot. Fortunately, that was not the case, “said the actress. “This virus is searching. Please take it seriously. ”
De Charmed star shared even more on Sunday about her experience with the infectious disease, showing viewers the hair loss she experienced as a result of her COVID-19 infection. In the video, Milano brushes her hair and balls up the strands, caught in the brush, and shows it to viewers.
“This is my hair loss from COVID-19,” she says. “Wear a damn mask.”

Earlier this month, Milano also shared a photo of herself wearing an oxygen mask on Instagram. In the title of the photo set, the actress shared her list of symptoms, noting that she “had never been this kind of sick.”
‘Everything hurts. Loss of smoke. It felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. I could not breathe. I could not keep any food in me. I lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks. I was confused, ‘she wrote.
The actress, who doctors called a ‘long hauler’, notes that her experiences with COVID-19 tests have not always been the most accurate. In March, she tested negative for the virus and antibodies, but her latest test shows she has the antibodies.
“I just want you to be aware that our test system is defective and that we do not know the real numbers. I want to let you know too, this disease is not a hoax. I thought I was dead. It felt like I was going to die, ‘she wrote.
Milano is contributing to the growing number of figures in Hollywood, including Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston and Lena Dunham, who have been diagnosed with the disease. On Monday, Antonio Banderas shared that he was diagnosed with coronavirus disease on Instagram.
Just last week, Sony Pictures Television announced that Milano and Tony Danza will surprise them again Who’s the boss? roles for a sequel to the hit 1980 show.

This was me on April 2 after I had been sick for 2 weeks. I had never been this kind of sick. Everything hurts. Loss of smoke. It felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. I could not breathe. I could not keep any food in me. I lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks. I was confused. Low grade fever. And the headache was terrible. I had basically every Covid symptom. At the very end of March I took two covid19 tests and both were negative. I also took a covid antibody test (the fingerprick test) after I felt a little better. NEGATIVE. After living the last 4 months with prolonged symptoms such as, vertigo, stomach abnormalities, irregular periods, heartbeat, shortness of breath, zero short-term memory, and general malaise, I went and got an antibody test of a blood draw (not the finger prick) from a lab. I am positive for covide antibodies. I had Covid19. I just want you to be aware that our test system is faulty and that we do not know the real numbers. I want to let you know too, this disease is not a hoax. I thought I was dead. It felt like dying. I will donate my plasma with the hope that I can save a life. Please take care of yourself. Please wash your hands and wear a mask and social distance. I do not want anyone to feel the way I did. Get well soon. I love you all (well, maybe not the trolls. Just the friendly people.) ❤️
