Alyssa Milano responds for an alleged photo of a black face

The actress posted Tuesday in response to an article alleging that she was “facing a backlash” over an alleged “black-face scandal.”

“Hey, ** holes,” he tweeted. “The image below is me parodying Jersey Shore and Snookie’s tan (cq). Snookie’s tan (by the way, she’s a girlfriend) is worth parodying just like Trump’s ‘tan’.”

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is a star of the hit MTV series “Jersey Shore” and known for her tan.

CNN has reached out to LifeZette representatives for comment.

A representative for Polizzi, who was born in Chile and was adopted as a baby by Italian-American parents, declined to comment to CNN.

The black face problem has become a major issue in Hollywood during the recent global reexamination of racial and racial injustice. Past episodes of various shows featuring a character on blackface have recently been removed from streaming services, and late-night host Jimmy Kimmel apologized after old clips of him acting on blackface appeared.

Milano, who has been outspoken in her opposition to Trump, had tweeted days earlier about what she alleges is a smear campaign against her due to her policy.

“The trolls on the right are using a still from this fun video of a parodied Jersey Shore Snookie,” he tweeted Saturday along with the 2013 video of the parody. “If you see the screenshot they are using, maybe I can close it with a link to the full video.”

“Cancel culture is being armed by the right / Putin,” Milano tweeted Monday.

“Take note of who they are targeting and what trends,” he wrote. “Are they trying to hurt Trump’s loudest critics? Yes. The disinformation campaign has started. Look out for what he posts on social media. The truth still matters.”
