Alyssa Milano recently revealed that she was hospitalized and losing her days with hair loss days after she said she was testing positive for coronavirus antibodies.
On Friday, Milano, 47, took a selfie while wearing a mask on a hospital bed.
“I was acutely ill with Covid19 in April. I still have a lot of symptoms, ‘the actress posted. “I’m what they call a ‘long hauler’.”
The podcast host “Sorry not sorry” went on to say, “Last night I had real pregnancy in my chest. I went to the ER to make sure it was not a blood gland. Fortunately that was not the case.”
“This virus sucks”, the alum of ‘Desperate Housewives’ wrote the post. “Please take it seriously.”
On Sunday, Milano revealed that she was experiencing hair loss.
The actress posted a video of her brushing her with a clean brush after washing her locks. After a few brushes, her hair began to come out in heavy volume.
“I thought I would show you what # Covid19 does to your hair,” Milano said. “Please take this seriously.”
The ‘Charmed’ alumnus recently opened up about her journey to health that resulted in a positive coronavirus antibody test.
Milano posted a screenshot of her data on Wednesday, as well as a photo of herself with a breathing machine while she was ill in April.
“This was me on April 2 after I had been ill for 2 weeks. I had never been this kind of sick, ”Milano shared. ‘Everything hurts. Loss of smoke. It felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. I could not breathe. I could not keep any food in me. I lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks. I was confused. Low grade fever. And the headache was terrible. I basically had all the Covid symptoms. ”
She said she was tested twice for coronavirus in March, but both tests came back negative.
In addition, once she felt better, she took a fingerprick test to determine if she had the antibodies that are commonly found in those who have fought the virus but again received negative results.
After the last 4 months of living with suffering symptoms such as, vertigo, stomach abnormalities, irregular periods, palpitations, shortness of breath, zero short-term memory, and general malaise, I went and got an antibody test of a blood draw (not the fingerprick) of a lab, ”she continued. “I am positive about covide antibodies. I had Covid19. ”
Milano later responded to the tweet from a fan who asked about how she got sick. The actress replied, “Traveling between Portland, NY and LA.”
Some people have accused the actress of ‘lying’ about her diagnosis of positive antibodies because she tested negative for the virus several times.
“DO YOU LIKE ME FOR THAT ?! Why would I suffer f-king over having a virus?” Milano shot back at one person on Twitter on Friday.
