August is the month for Sony to establish much more details of PlayStation 5, or that’s what the Internet would make you believe. That’s right, folks, we are once again at that point where despair is setting in. Sony has been silent on the next generation issue since it unveiled its next console in June, and of course this means every gamer on the web is telling people that the news will drop in the next 30 days or so.
The conclusion is that nobody can determine a precise date because nobody really knows what Sony’s plans are, that is clear based on previous events. Obviously, a game state awaits us sometime soon, the Japanese giant still has a lot to talk about, but right now, its guess is as good as ours.
Still, the rumors are definitely beginning to swirl. In the latest Kcast Funny Gamescast, Imran Khan says he “heard” that both Sony and Microsoft “have” to talk about “pricing and availability” in August. Additionally, Jeff Grubb is back on Twitter with an updated event calendar, suggesting that Sony’s next presentation will take place between August 5 and 11.
It’s starting to feel like something have It will happen in August, but as always, we would advise against placing bets until Sony makes a move. While we understand that waiting for key PS5 info can be a bit frustrating, it will eventually happen, and we’ll be close by to cover any breaking news here at Push Square.
