Although people were surprised by the man’s attempt to dodge the mask, Hazeltine noted that Allegiant Air is one of the airlines that has not implemented a mandatory mask policy. The airline has announced that it will not require passengers to wear masks while on board until July 2.

Despite this, Hazeltine told News 5 that all other passengers were wearing their mask correctly.
