De Big Brother house got a little empty Thursday night as the first All-Star of the season was pulled out … and was greeted by an empty CBS studio. (As if the start-up of the soul did not crush enough.)
Keesha Smith and Kevin Campbell, who both struggled to find allies in the first week of Season 22, sat for elimination in Thursday’s episode – but who got the boat? Read on for the highlights of the evening:
THE STRATEGY | In the pre-taped segments of the episode, the decision of Keesha vs. Kevin not one to dare. Instead, the All-Stars who are not in jeopardy this week are busy with alliances … and Cody is doing quite a bit. Following the formation of a Final Two Alliance with Memphis, known as The Commission, Cody and Memphis then expanded their group to include Christmas, Tyler, Dani and Nicole F. But when other alliance chance presents itself – this time with his Roots partner, Enzo, plus Bayleigh and Da’Vonne – Cody is all for it. (This alliance has so far lacked a cool name.)
In other Bayleigh news, she and Tyler finally make amends after their important season 20 blow-up – better two years late than never! – and decide to work together secretly, because no one would suspect their team-up. But even after these new alliances are formed, there seems to be no consensus on who should propose.
THE FORGESTION | On the other by the way, the house seems to be a clear agreement on this week’s eviction in the last 24 hours: Keesha is triggered by a disappointing – and, for Kevin, all-jaw-dropping – 13-0 vote, and she was sent in a package package in case of need “most of you ”the best of luck in her speech beforehand. In her tearful interview with Julie Chen Moonves, Keesha later mentions Enzo and Cody as the targets of her ire, seeing how they had promised to give her a heads-up if she were to be expelled … only to break her word and to prevent them when Eviction Day ran.
In a devastating call to Keesha’s Season 10 eviction, Memphis once again brings the definitive mood to dismiss her, which I can only imagine had the BB producers cackling with glee in their socially distant pods.
THE HEAD OF COMPETITION OF HOUSE | As always, this week’s eviction is immediately followed by the next Head of Housing competition, with Cody unable to compete this time around. It’s a straightforward comp where housekeepers should watch video clips, then answer real / false questions correctly about what they just saw.
Finally, it comes down to Nicole A., Memphis, Tyler, Bayleigh and Da’Vonne for the final question. Memphis is the only one who answers it correctly, making him the new HOH … and making it a great week for The Commission.
Okay, your turn! Were you afraid to look out for Keesha first? And who do you think Memphis will nominate for expulsion? Drop all your thoughts in a comment below!
