Shea Couleé, Miz Cracker and Jujubee are fighting for their place in the “Drag Race Hall of Fame”. There are still a few gags and twists that get in the way. Who is the winner of this season of All the stars? Here’s our recap of the latest episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 5.

The best three from ‘All-Stars 5’ enter the Werk room
After Blair’s elimination, this season’s finalists celebrate her rise to the top. Miz Cracker has never been so close before! However, after that RuPaul phone call, everyone is a little worried about the turn. (PS: They open the box and, surprise surprise, there are two lipsticks for Blair and one for Jujubee, which was presumably Blair’s choice.)
Still, this is a second moment of persecution for all of them! Jujubee suggests they celebrate with a pillow fight and she punches Miz Cracker in the face. It is literally eliminating the competition. The next day, instead of entering the Top Three in the Werk Room, all queens are eliminated. They are all hiding behind the wall that, presumably, the puppets would have been behind.
Then, Shea Couleé, Jujubee and Miz Cracker enter the room. They start talking about how fierce the competition was and Alexis says it sounds false. Shea Couleé challenges Jujubee to reach into the hole in the puppet. At that moment, all the eliminated queens come out and surprise them.
RuPaul then announced what the main challenge is for this week. The queens will write and record their own original verses for the song “Clap Back”. They will also be the stars of RuPaul’s podcast, What is the shirt? On the main stage, the only lip sync killers will be the top three. Everyone is excited.
The queens sit and pour tea
The eliminated queens are eager to return, sit on the couches, and talk about some drama, Mom. For Derrick and India, Derrick says he needs an apology to move forward, and India apologizes. Mayhem says she was eliminated because India was her teammate! She couldn’t do that.
Finally, Alexis heads to the campaign and Mayhem says he would never do that to Shea. In fact, she is angry that India threw her under the bus. She confirms that the only reason she chose Shea is because Mariah did so well and she and India had a … deal. It is not an alliance! An agreement. Derrick loves this, by the way.
Anyway, enough drama. All the queens head to the main stage, where Todrick Hall teaches the top three the choreography he came up with. Cracker warns her that she is always a little behind. Jujubee suggests that instead of “clapping” she can simply clap.
Blair, sitting on the sidelines, is ready to jump at any moment. (She is doing all the choreography from her chair.) Still, Shea’s choreography is the most difficult of the group. Okay, says Miz Cracker. Shea is the best dancer and should be challenged.
The best three interpret their original verses
After their rehearsal, each of the top three queens has their moment on the RuPaul podcast. Jujubee talks about being sober, Miz Cracker talks about the differences from last time Endurance race, and Shea Couleé talks about her inner saboteur, named “Shanaynay”.
When it’s time to prepare for the final challenge, the eliminated queens join the finalists in the Werk Room. Everyone is nervous, the stakes are high! Still, Shea Couleé, Jujubee and Miz Cracker kill “Clap Back”, each interpreting optimistic verses.
On the track, the category is ‘All-Star Eleganza’
After seeing the performance, all the queens take him to the track for the last time, including the eliminated queens. Jujubee has a jeweled dress and headdress, inspired by the Hindi god. Miz Cracker has a bubblegum pink dress inspired by his Russian heritage. Shea Couleé, also in light pink, is inspired by the catwalks of the 1960s.
Then Jujubee talks about being a beacon of hope for other Asian gay boys. Miz Cracker talks about how much being Jewish means to her and how much her mother helped her grow. Shea Couleé shared that she is inspired by black women, and for this particular look, her mother’s party dress. She also thanks RuPaul for being an example and giving everyone a platform.
After a quick change and deliberation, the top three return to the stage to perform their final lip sync. This was for Janelle Monáe “Make Me Feel”. Then RuPaul crowns his winner. The queen who earns her place in the Drag Race Hall of Fame is … Shea Couleé.
