Update, 11:45 p.m. Transportation agency, now all two East BART stations are open Said In an update, however, not all pre-Montgomery station services are available.

BART passengers will need to take an alternative mode of public transport today.

All trains were delayed due to a computer issue with the system as early as Sunday morning, failing to perform scheduled operations before the stations reopened at 1 p.m. Statement Shared on Twitter by the agency.


Now, bay area stations will be “closed until further notice” while BART officials will mediate the issue. Partner transport agencies including Muni, AC Transit, VTA, Tri Delta, CCCTA and Wheels will provide interim bus service, and substitute routes may be available. Trip Planner On Bart’s website.

AC Transit will provide transbay service on Line F from the intersection of downtown Berkeley’s Center St. and Shattak to the Salesforce Transit Center in downtown San Francisco. Auckland passengers will be able to take the NL line to the same destination from 20th St. and Broadway.

“Staff are working to determine the root cause,” Bart said in an update at 9:10 a.m. “We don’t have an ETA yet on when it will be resolved.”
