An Alaska Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Seattle, Washington, on Saturday after a passenger threatened to kill everyone on board.
Video footage of the incident shows the man, wearing a face mask, moving through the cabin of flight 422 bound for Chicago O’Hare screaming, ‘I will kill everyone on this plane unless they accept that Jesus was a black man. ‘.
As he passes alarmed passengers in his seats, he is heard shouting ‘accept it’ and ‘dies in the name of Jesus’ several times.
According to Alaska Airlines, the flight took off around 11:15 p.m. from the Seattle-Tacoma airport and the incident began after 20 minutes.

“The man became extremely belligerent and physically aggressive during the climb,” said an Alaska Airlines spokesman.
Three passengers, including a law enforcement officer, and a flight attendant helped subdue the man.
In the clip obtained by NBC’s King 5 station, the men are seen following the suspect down the hall while everyone else buckles up during the climb.

The video shot by a passenger shows that the couple knocks him down when a stewardess rushes in with what appear to be ties to hold her wrists.
A concerned woman rises from her seat before the stewardess climbs onto the chair to reach the suspect.
The clip shows others following him down the aisle as he threatens passengers who remain silent.
Passengers largely ignore the suspect, seen standing up, as a man moves forward
A man is heard detaining the suspect who yells at him to stay on the ground and one of them is seen reassuring the passengers that everything will be fine.
The cabin crew then announces that the flight will land at the nearest airport. The plane was forced to return to its origin.
After the emergency landing, the Seattle Port Police took the man on board. He was reportedly cooperative and entered the King County Jail.
He was not immediately charged with a crime, but was under investigation on suspicion of harassment. His motivation was unclear.
He was not harmed during detention and passengers were not reported to be physically harmed.
The flight was canceled and the remaining passengers were booked on another flight to Chicago, Illinois.
