“We were notified this morning that Coach Saban has tested positive for the Covid-19,” Alabama Medical Director Dr. Jimmy Robinson and football athletic trainer Jeff Allen said in a statement.
“It has very mild symptoms, so this test will not be classified as a potential false positive. It will follow all the appropriate guidelines and separate from the home.”
Saab tested positive for the virus in October, but returned to the side of the team’s game against Conference Reggie University on October 17, after which it was determined to be a false positive under conference conference protocol, the team’s physician, Dr. Says Jimmy Robinson.
