Alabama, Notre Dame, Clemson, Ohio State are again leading the CFP rankings as the top 7 teams remain

The top seven teams remained in the College Football .L playoff rankings on Tuesday night, as Alabama, Notre Dame, Clemson and Ohio State continue to occupy the top four places.

The program remained stable at Bookies No. 4 despite the cancellation of last Saturday’s game in Illinois following an increase in COVID-19 cases, including head coach Ryan Day’s test positive.

Despite playing just four games, Ohio State is ahead of One-Los Texas A&M, which beat home LSU last week, and One-Los Florida, which beat Kentucky at home.

The bookies resumed team activities on Tuesday and look forward to playing again at Michigan State this week. They must play this week and next week to qualify for the Big Ten Championship game.

Alabama and Clemson remained after a resounding victory, when Notre Dame learned on Tuesday that he had qualified for the ACC Championship game in his first season as a member of football. No. 6 Florida, No. 7 Cincinnati and No. 10 Miami all held their venues this week, while Georgia moved up one place to No. 8 after the win against South Carolina.

Initially, CFP was the only Northwestern team in the top 10, falling six places to 14th after losing to Michigan State in their first match of the season. Iowa State is the only newcomer to the top 10 after Friday’s road win against Texas, which has slipped out of the rankings. Iowa State has been given virtual reassurance in the big 12 championship game, where it will likely face No. 11 Oklahoma.

While the top 10 remained largely intact, there was significant movement elsewhere. Oklahoma State is ranked 15th out of eight after a home win over Texas Tech. Iowa has moved up five places to 19th after a home win against Nebraska.

After not playing last week, BYU moved up one place to 13th position. The Cougars, an FBS independent, are set to play against San Diego State on December 12. Cincinnati is also closed this week due to COVID issues, and will play against Tulsa next December 12, moving up one place to 24th.

Defending Pack-12 champion Oregon O Reagan is ranked 23rd out of eight places following a loss to the state. Washington Washington, which has improved to 3-0 after a historic comeback against Utah, is ranked 22nd in the CFP rankings. The Ducks and Huck Keys are set to play at Reg Reagan next week. The U.S.C., which canceled last week’s game against Colorado due to Covid-19 issues in its program, is the 20th-ranked team in the Pack-12.

Coastal Carolina improved to 9-0 in the season and moved up two places to 18th. The Chanticklers welcome ESPN College Gameday this week for a 9-1 game against Liberty. Louisiana, who started the season with a win over Iowa State, moved up the CFP rankings to 25th.

C.F.P. The selection committee will announce its final list on December 8 and 15 before announcing it.
