Alabama gets another high-ranking offensive lineman

Two days after landing the Brockermeyer twins, Alabama has secured the engagement of another highly regarded offensive line prospect.

Georgia’s four-star offensive guard Terrence Ferguson got engaged to the Crimson Tide Sunday via Instagram.

The 6-foot-4-inch, 300-pound Ferguson is ranked as the second best offensive guard and 47th overall best prospect in the 2021 recruitment class within the 247Sports Composite rankings.

It is the latest addition to an excellent offensive line class for Crimson Tide. Alabama now has commitments from two five-star offensive tackles (Tommy Brockermeyer and JC Latham), the nation’s highest ranked center (James Brockermeyer) and one of the nation’s best offensive guards (Ferguson).

Georgia and Florida State were among the teams that the Tide defeated to land Ferguson.

With Ferguson’s pledge, Alabama jumped from No. 6 to No. 2 on the 247 Composite 2021 recruitment ranking, just behind the State of Ohio.
