Alabama added 675 new coronavirus cases since yesterday.
Figures from the Alabama Department of Public Health’s Aug. 24 at 10 a.m. show the state with a total of 110,769 coronavirus cases since March. The state has had 1,950 deaths, adding six more overnight.
The state has hospitalized 1,093 people with coronavirus.
The state has tested 916,364 people for COVID-19, 204,782 in the past 14 days. Of those recent tests, 11,279 were positive. ADPH reports that 44,684 people are believed to have recovered from coronavirus.
Of the total cases, 40% are between 25 and 49 years old; 20% of 50-64; 17% older than 65; 14% between the ages of 18-24; 7% between 5-17; 2% from 0-4. ADPH shows 7,700 children aged 5-17 have been tested positive for coronavirus since March.
