After updating IOS 14 Or MacOS 11 Big Sur You have potentially experienced your Airpods Randomly switch between your Apple PL devices. The new automated switching feature is supposed to make your life easier, but for many – including you really – it is annoying.
In theory, the new feature will be able to identify which Apple device you want to use with real-time of your time. For example, if you’re streaming music on your own IPhone And you start playing videos on yourself IPad, AirPods should switch to your iPad. But in reality, this feature is somewhat obscure. I know that when I listen to music on my iPad when I unlock it I have problems keeping track of my AirPods connection through my iPhone.
Thanks, there is a way to turn off the feature. Just make sure you follow the steps outlined below on each Apple Pull device with which you use your AirPods, or at least, the devices you don’t want to automatically switch between your AirPods.
Turn off auto switching to iPhone, iPad
With your AirPods connected to your iPhone or iPad, follow these steps:
.. Open Settings Application.
2. Tap Bluetooth.
3. Tap the “I” icon next to the name of your AirPods.
4Scroll down the options until you find an option labeled Connect to this iPhone / iPad; Tap it.
5.choose When finally connected to this iPhone / iPad Then come back from the settings app.
Turn on auto switching on
Connect your AirPods to your Mac, then follow these steps:
.. Open System preferences.
2. choose Bluetooth.
3. Click Options Next to the name of your airpods.
4Click on the dropdown labeled Connect to this tool.
5. choose When was the last time I connected to this machine And then click Done And off System preferences.
By turning off automatic switching on all your Apple Pull devices, your AirPods will connect to the last device they connected to when you placed them, just like they did before iOS 14. Then if you want to start using it with someone else, your Apple Pull devices, you can switch to them by selecting them in the AirPlay section of the Control Center.
