AirPaddy 2, the best way to connect AirPods to Mac, is now available for pre-order

Airbuddy 2, a follow-up to one of my favorite apps for Mac, is now available for pre-order with a general release coming November 11th.

Developed by Airbuddy Of 9to5Mac Gui Rambo, and I’ve been using the original version since it was released in 2019. The advantage of Apple’s W1 / H1 chips is how easy it is to connect AirPods and Powerbeat Pro to your iOS device. However, Apple has not made it quite easy to pair them with the Mac.

That’s where Airbuddy comes in. It brings the same simplicity to the mind. With Airbuddy 2, the connection process of AirPods with Mac is taken to the next level with a refreshed user interface, improved reliability and many new features.

Airbus 2 features

  • Show the status of your AirPods Pro or other Apple Pal and Beats headsets when your makeup is near
  • Connect and change listening mode on AirPods Pro with a single swipe gesture on the trackpad
  • Displays the status menu for all your Apple Pal and Beats devices at a glance with the status bar menu, including the iPhone, iPad, Apple Pul Clock and other devices running AirMudd2.
  • Quickly connect to airpods, switch between listening modes and more, using the status bar menu or keyboard listening shortcut.

If you’re frequently connecting your AirPods to your Mac for zooming calls, listening to Apple Pull music, etc., Airbuddy will be one of your favorite apps. I’m currently using the Beta of Airbuddy 2, and it takes everything about the original app and makes it better. I can’t do imaging using a Mac without it.

Version 2 is available today for preorder for 2.99. If you own the original Airbuddy, you can use your existing serial number to save 50%. If you purchased Airbuddy 1 in 2020, you will receive a free upgrade to version 2, Airbuddy 2 will be released on November 11th.
