Activision explains why Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has multiple endings

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has finally been announced. Expanding on previous entries in the series, the title continues to lean to give players more freedom to choose how they want to play. Finally, players can create a character and define their attributes. What’s more, some of the levels are less linear and others have dialogue choices. This level of freedom extends to the end of the game, as Activision has confirmed that the choices you make in the game will lead to one of multiple ends.

Dan Vondrak of Raven Software says the team had the idea for multiple ducks at the beginning of development. Deciding that there would be multiple ducks later in the process could lead to some problems, he said. The team enlisted the help of Batman filmmaker David Goyer, who also worked on the original Black Ops, and the story aims to pay homage to the first game and sequel Black Ops 2, which also had multiple endings.

Black Ops Cold War will be released on November 13 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will also launch later this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X when these consoles arrive. The upgrade will only be free with editions above the standard, costing $ 70 and up.
