About half of iPhone users mistakenly ask if they have a 5G connection

An interesting study StatesPull iPhone users have found in all carriers in the states that 49% of them believe that their handset is currently blocking 5G connectivity. However, you know that no iPhone model supports the next level of wireless connectivity. The survey was conducted by Global Wireless Solutions (GWS) and showed that it is not just iPhone owners who are unsure whether their phones are 5G enabled.

About half of iPhone users surveyed think their phone supports 5G

Of all the smartphone users who took part in the survey, 29% said they did not know if their phone could access 5G signals. Shortening the field for those who have just bought a new smartphone this year, 24% are unclear whether their handset connects to the 5G network. And speaking of 5G networks, 38% of the 5,000 people surveyed don’t know if the wireless carrier they subscribe to 5G service is where they live.

Download data 10 times faster than 4G, 5G customers will be able to download movies in seconds instead of minutes. New businesses and industries will be created and the speed of fast downloads and latency will lead to self-driving vehicles and more. But for many, it’s hard to see the benefits that 5G brings to people. This may be due to the fact that the fast data speeds available from the MMWave 5G signal do not travel long distances. As a result, both T-Mobile and AT&T is using long-distance low-band 5G spectrum for the base of their 5G networks. The only problem with these so-called Sub-6GHz airwaves is that they don’t deliver super-fast 5G speeds like MMV signals.
Of the three major U.S. carriers, T-Mobile is using a 5G build of “Layer Cake” with 600 MHz low-band spectrum at the bottom to provide coverage depth across the state. The 2.5GHz mid-band spectrum acquired in the Sprint transaction will be deployed in rural areas of the country to ensure that Americans living in this throat of woods can quickly access data speeds. T-Mobile will eventually add more MMwave spectrum which gives its 5G layer cake a little sweet icing. Verizon, on the other hand, is sticking too much to the MMway spectrum; Such high-band airwave travel deals with Verizon customers for short distances that are responsible for the slow 5G build. Before the end of the year, Verizon will connect its own low-band nationwide 5G network to both T-Mobile and AT&T.

Survey respondents say they are very excited about the fast data speed expected from 5G, which attracts the attention of 54% of respondents with that feature. 16% said they are excited about improved video streaming / conferencing with a 13% pump about video streaming quality with 5G. 8% bring the best gaming experience with 8% not waiting to play a video game.

Apple Pull will unveil its first 5G iPhone models this coming Tuesday and the fact that these are the first handsets from Apple Pull to support 5G will come as a shock to 49% of survey respondents who believe that their iPhone is already with 5G Working.

Unless fast 5G signals are more readily available, there will be no big payments for customers. Consumers say smart cities will benefit the most from 5G. The majority of those surveyed (54%) say Americans should speed up the timeline for 5G deployments today due to the public health crisis caused by the epidemic.
