A four-year-old boy loses both parents to coronavirus within 100 days

Amid the grief of the family of a four-year-old boy who lost both his parents within 100 days of the coronavirus, he is trying to plan an unforgettable birthday.

In June, Ryden Gonzalez’s father, Adan, became ill with coronavirus after a co-worker tested positive. Adan, of San Antonio, Texas, was immediately hospitalized, then died of the virus on June 26 at the age of 33.

According to the four-year-old grandmother, Rosie Salinas, with whom she spoke NBC NewsWhile Rydon’s mother, Maria, was still mourning her husband’s loss in October, she also fell ill.

She died suddenly in October, hours after her illness began, Salinas said, adding that the hospital later informed the family that the 29-year-old had tested positive for coronavirus.

The sudden death of both of his parents has been hard on Ryden, his family said, as the child tells his grandmother he wants his mother back.

“He misses his mother because he was Mama’s boy,” Salinas told the outlet. “Just this morning she told me she wanted to give it back to her mom and she just wanted it back.

“I mean what do I call him? You know, so I told him that now they are angels who keep an eye on us and protect us.”

But with Ryden’s birthday coming up on November 28 this month, his grandmother hopes the drive-by celebration will bring some happiness into his life.

“We have a lot of truck clubs, bikers, Mustang clubs, classic cars, jeep clubs, as well as a fire department. “It’s going to be a big turnout,” she said of the upcoming dinosaur-themed birthday.

Speaking to Newsto, Salinas said they are having a party to show Raiden that his birthday comes every year and “we will make sure he celebrates”.

Salinas also said she plans to build a memorial for both her daughter and son-in-law after the holidays, which Maria wanted to do for her husband, but never got.

And while it’s hard to handle the pain, Salinas said her grandson keeps it going.

“He’s the one who keeps me going, just with his friendly and constant reminders telling me how much he loves me. He’s always thanking him for taking care of him, but I have to think about him.” “It’s a difficult situation to process.”

The family has created a GoFundMe for a four-year-old.

The epidemic in Texas has killed more than 20,000 people with the coronavirus.
