A few hours of flu-like symptoms? For this woman who participated in the Covid-19 vaccine trial, it is ‘definitely’ worth it

That is the extent of the side effects Suzanne Frohlich has experienced after taking two shots of the Covid-19 vaccine of the experimental mode. And it will do it “completely” again if needed.

“I woke up with horrible abdominal pains and headaches, and it was like I was in the early stages of a bad flu,” Frohlich told CNN during his global coronavirus townhall on Friday night. “And so, I had nothing to take at that time, so about four hours later I was in so much pain, when my husband woke up and I told him to take me some naproxen.”

“All those symptoms went away. If I had naproxen just now, I think those symptoms would have stopped more quickly. But my muscles hurt, my joints hurt, my bones hurt, my jaw hurts. Injured. ” “But it was for such a short time.”

She and her husband, Dr. Thomas Frohlich, who treats cancer patients, received the first dose on August 21 from a vaccine or placebo. Participants in the blind study were not told what to do.

After the second dose on September 18, she said she woke up in pain after 12 hours at night. He was predeceased by Anderson Cooper and Drs. “Every part of my body was in pain for about four hours,” he told Sanjay Gupta.

Her husband was not surprised by her symptoms, when she said it was normal when people took a drug.

He had no symptoms and believes he must have gotten a placebo.

Susan Frohlich said she would re-vaccinate “completely under her arm” if she meant going through a similar reaction.

“And if I need to get this once a year, you can bet I’ll be first in line.” “We all need to get this vaccine. It’s better to get this disease. There are a lot of friends and relatives who have come up with covid now, and I don’t want to go through that.”

Her husband agreed, adding that he would advise cancer patients to take it because “it is completely safe.”

“It’s definitely not terrible what you’re going through, and it’s better than getting a virus,” he said.
