The newly re-assembled AC / DC has released their first single since 2014. “Shot in the Dark” will appear on their 17th full-length album, PowerIs, which comes on November 13th. LP is available for pre-order.
The album reunites the band’s four surviving members Black back Avatar – Lead guitarist Angus Young, lead singer Brian Johnson, bassist Cliff Williams, drummer Phil Rudd, plus rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, who has been performing with the band since 2014 and is the nephew of Angus and finally Malcolm Young.
The new single embodied hard-driving anatomical sound AC / DC fans will happily get acquainted with the songs and rocking struts with its sound. “Take a shot in the dark / make it feel right,” Johnson sings during the call-and-response chorus. “Shot in the dark all night.”
