KANE COUNTY – Illinois public health officials on Saturday reported 22 new cases of COVID-19 in Kane County and 3 additional deaths.

Kane County now has 7,604 cases of the virus, with 264 deaths, according to the IDPH website.

State health officials reported an additional 786 cases and 26 deaths statewide for a total of 141,077 cases, including 6,873 deaths. In the last 24 hours, laboratories have reported 30,237 specimens. The state’s continued positivity rate held at 2.6% on Saturday.
