843 new cases, 527 recaptures, and 13 deaths

IOWA

(KWWL) – There were 843 new, confirmed cases from 10 a.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday, according to the state dashboard, which brings the total number of cases of the state to 55,496.

The state’s website says that of the 55,496 people who tested positive, 43,353 were recovered. This is 527 more recoveries than what the state reported Friday.

13 more deaths were reported within this time frame, leaving the state dead at 1,030.

There have been 33 patients hospitalized in Iowa in the last 24 hours and the total number of hospitalizations is 268. Of those hospitalizations, 79 are in the ICU and 34 are on ventilators.

In Iowa, 5,520 new tests were given for a total of more than 591,013 people who were tested for COVID-19.

BLACK HAWK LAND

With effect from 10 a.m. Saturday, the Black Hawk COVID-19 dashboard shows data from 10 a.m. Friday. There are 32 more positive cases for a total of 3,992 reported cases in the province. There were 36 more repairs for a total of 2,781. No additional deaths were reported in the province, resulting in a total of 67 deaths. The 14-day average positivity rate for the province is 9.2 percent.

LINN COUNTY

According to the Linn County COVID-19 dashboard at 10 a.m. Saturday, there were 21 more positive cases for a total of 2,673 reported cases since 10 a.m. Friday. There were 19 additional repairs, bringing it to a total of 2,401. There have been no additional COVID-19-related deaths in the province, leaving a total of 89 deaths. There are 15 current hospitalizations in the province. The average of the 14 days positive for the province is 6.8 percent.

JOHNSON COUNTY

According to the state its dashboard at 10 a.m. Saturday, 67 new positive cases have been reported in Johnson County since 10 a.m. Friday. This brings the total to 2,389 reported cases. There have been a total of 1,738 repairs, which is 44 more than yesterday. A total of 28,097 were tested. There were no additional COVID-19-related deaths in the province, leaving a total of 24. The 14-day average positioning process for the province is 7.3 percent.

DUBUQUE COUNTY

According to the state its dashboard at 10 a.m. Saturday, there have been 19 new positive cases reported in Dubuque County since 10 a.m. Friday. This brings the total to 1,890 reported cases. There have been 20 more recoveries reported for a total of 1,344. A total of 22,927 people were tested. There was one additional COVID-19 related death in the province, bringing the total to 35. The average of the 14-day average positivity for the province is 6.9 percent.
