78-year-old woman dies after vaccination

A 78-year-old woman died shortly after inoculation at a mass vaccination site in Los Angeles County, health officials announced Saturday.

The patient’s family stated that she had a history of heart disease, as did Dr. Michael E., director of the Permanent Southern California Vaccination Program. Morris said in a statement.

The woman “died unexpectedly” on Friday after a Pfizer version of the Covid-19 vaccine was found around noon at a Kaiser-operated site in Cal Poly Pomona, 30 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, Dr. Los Cutter said.

“While sitting in the observation area after the injection, the patient felt uncomfortable and lost consciousness when he was assessed by medical personnel,” he said. “The paramedics on the scene started and continued CPR almost immediately, but eventually it could not be revived.”

The cause of her death has not yet been determined, but the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health said in an email that there were no signs of allergic or anaphylactic reactions.

“His death does not appear to be related to the vaccine,” he said.

The husband of the 57-year-old woman was also vaccinated on Friday.

“Despite this tragedy, he is still urging people to continue trying the Covid-19 vaccine, saying they are to receive a second dose of the vaccine in a few weeks.”

Last week, health officials said the cause of death for the 58-year-old Virginia woman was unknown.

In January, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health said there was no evidence to suggest that the Pfizer vaccine increased the risk of death.

Badball Lana’s great shout Aaron Jan. Modern’s Covid-19 died a few weeks after receiving the vaccine. Vacc. Some vaccination critics immediately used the occasion to suggest a link between the death of the fetus and the vaccine.

Ory Mori University School of Medicine Executive Associate Dean of Medicine Dr. Carlos del Rio said last month that he was “absolutely convinced that his death had nothing to do with the vaccine and that it was due to the fact that he was old and fragile.”

The Cal Poly Pomo vaccination site will remain open as long as there is supply, health officials said.
