60-employees of colloid-springs tested positive for N-out test COVID-19

Colorado Springs, Cologne. (KRDO) – A month after Colorado’s first in-and-out locations opened, the state is reporting an outbreak of Covid-19 at rest restaurants in V Rora and Colorado Springs.

The Colorado Springs location has about 60 staff members who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to state statistics updated Wednesday. The outbreak was confirmed on December 6 and is still active; Nine other employees at the Springs location are thought to be positive for the virus.

Rachel Tulisewski, an in-and-out customer, didn’t know it would erupt until after she had already eaten her food.

“It’s a little bit related, but does it shift through food or anything? I don’t really know,” Tulizeski said.

In Aurora’s in-and-out, an outbreak was confirmed on Dec. 17, and 20 staff members tested positive for coronavirus while 16 others tested positive.

While restaurants in Colorado do not make up the bulk of the COVID-19 outbreak, both popular burger joints have been busy in the influx of customers since the opening.

Both locations remain open between the reported outbreaks. One family found out about the outbreak while waiting for orders in the third through the drive.

“It was a much quieter reaction,” Jane told Shimon. “Because we thought it wasn’t really on the surface and it really shouldn’t be affected in any way. But there was definitely a little reaction.”

El Paso County Public Health spokeswoman Michelle Hewitt said in a statement: “We are working closely with N-Out as this outbreak is to provide public health care, guidance and technical assistance. This includes testing appropriate quarantine and isolation measures.” , Cleaning and disinfection guidance, and making the necessary recommendations. “

Danny Warnick, Vice President of Operations with In-N-Out, sent the following statement to KRDO:

Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our customers and associates. We are committed to playing our part in preventing the transmission of the COVID-19 virus.

Over the past few weeks we have experienced a number of colloidal associates who have tested positive for COVID-19. Our thoughts and prayers are with our associates and we are hopeful for the quick recovery of each of the affected people. Of course, all positive associates and those with whom Ga has been in close contact are excluded from the workplace.

We have continued to work closely with our public health agencies and have endorsed appropriate steps to help protect our communities. These steps include: limiting the minimum number of employees required to serve our customers, using a staff “set” to limit potential contamination, and limiting access to the dining room to takeout orders only when ensuring proper physical distance.

At In-N-Out we have always used the highest health and safety standards to keep our customers safe. This includes excellent handwashing practices and frequent disinfection procedures for the entire restaurant. We desperately need to stay home from work when associates don’t feel good. As an additional level of precaution, each associate receives a thorough health check and a temperature check before starting work. We continue to offer contactless payment options, our self-service beverage stations are temporarily closed, and we provide hand sanitizers everywhere for our customers and associates.
