Ready for fireworks? Macy’s is taking a guerilla approach this year for its spectacular annual July 4th fireworks show. Instead of a big fireworks display on Independence Day, he’s planned a series of small fireworks throughout New York City throughout the week. Screens will be short and will be launched from undisclosed locations across the city to prevent crowds from building up during the coronavirus pandemic. The five-minute exhibits began on July 1 and continue throughout the week, culminating on Independence Day, Saturday, July 4.

If you don’t live in New York, or even if you do and intelligently avoid large crowds, you can watch the fireworks on TV on Saturday night. NBC to televise Macy’s July 4 fireworks show 8-10 pm ET in the room. The program will be broadcast in the Central and Mountain time zones from 7 pm local time. For those in the Pacific time zone, you can see a replay starting at 11 p. M. PT.

The show will feature highlights from the fireworks earlier in the week as well as a live show. And there will be music. The Black Eyed Peas and Tim McGraw are slated to perform as well as the poet Amanda Gorman. John Legend and Young People’s Chorus from New York City will provide the musical score for the fireworks display.
