5-star DB prospect tips indicate college decision

Could 5-star Ga’Quincy McKinstry play for Alabama football next year?

Alabama football has inflated the recruiting track in recent months, but they have not done so. One of the top recruits on the Alabama board is Ga’Quincy McKinstry, the best cornerback in the 2021 class. We do not know where he will still be playing college football, but he tipped his hand in this latest video.

This is not a guarantee that GQ will come to Tuscaloosa, but it is certainly a good sign. The script’s A ‘logo has been an icon for Tide’s gloves since Mark Ingram famously flashed her camera in 2009. This at least shows that McKinstry is seriously considering moving to Alabama.

Ga’Quincy McKinstry would be an important land for football in Alabama. The Crimson Tide will probably be without Patrick Surtain next season, and this player could potentially start as a newcomer. There is currently very little experience in the secondary for Alabama, so it is important that they recruit some talent at the level this year. The only other cornerback attack from now on is Devonta Smith. While Alabama has the deepest O-line class in the history of college football, they desperately need to recruit more players in the secondary.

Will Alabama football end on Ga’Quincy McKinstry

I doubt even McKinstry knows where he’s currently playing college football. The top three games appear to be Alabama, Auburn and LSU. 247’s Crystal Ball has a 38 percent chance of coming to Alabama. However, no national recruiter has made a prediction. An insider from Clemson grabbed Clemson, Hank South grabbed the Tide, and two Auburn experts grabbed the Tigers. These people usually get their information from the schools as opposed to the athletes. Once McKinstry announces a decision date, look back and see if other experts make a prediction.

This will be an interesting recruitment to see. Another 5-star prospect landing would help Alabama’s chances of having the top overall recruiting class by 2021. However, recruiting rankings is not how champions are decided. The main reason why Alabama has fought so hard to land this perspective is because he will become an absolute stud over his college career. He would be Alabama’s next big cornerback, and the Tide could really use him in the future.
